WE nature lovers in North Rhine-Westphalia
as a leisure and cultural organization with about 10,000 members ourselves.
International Friends of Nature is the movement of 115,000 members in Germany (600,000 members worldwide in 20 countries) over 100 years old. Created as 1895 the Friends of Nature in Vienna, contributed enthusiastic and convinced Friends of Nature, the idea in the world and established local groups. They are up today the basis of our movement in 20 countries with more than 600,000 members.
primary socio-political objective is still and just today the protection of nature and the environment.
central concern of our movement is - as enshrined in our Constitution - the people erschließn socially and environmentally responsible access to nature and culture. Nature as our habitat is a place for recreation and exercise, to experience and research, it is worthy of protection. The Friends of Nature are active in nature and for nature! We are committed gleichermaßn for a world without war, against oppression and exploitation of people and nature.
We contact us for an open world with social justice and democracy in all spheres of society and for organic production and living, which is designed for durability.
